About the Artist
Making art has been part of Sue's life from a young age. Through many moves and many mediums, Sue settled on watercolor when she and her Air Force husband retired to Las Vegas in 1990.
With Las Vegas their home for 15 years, Sue became active in the Nevada Watercolor Society. She became a signature member, won many awards and was their president for two years. Workshops from well known artists were often available and helped to form Sue's colorful style. Teaching drawing and watercolor painting became her passion while in Las Vegas and continued after she and her husband moved to Sequim, Washington. Five years later, they again moved, this time to beautiful Santa Barbara, California where Sue is now pursuing plein aire (on location) painting. |
