My inspiration comes first from watercolor itself. Its unpredictability, sensuousness and luminosity are all qualities that excite me. Making my paintings sing is a process that continually challenges me.

My subjects vary. It's whatever arouses my senses - something bright, sunshine lit, lush landscapes, florals or people. Regardless, one common thread seems to remain, "joyful color". I strive to capture some of the joy that the subject evokes in me.

I hope my enthusiasm for the medium, as well as the subject, is captured in my work and enjoyed by the viewer.
